Holy crap, the verses in this song gave me fits. Not the actual melodies but just getting the *sound* right. I must have done a few dozen or more attempts before I settled on this one.
There were two demos that eventually resulted in this song. The earliest was actually from 1991 and it was just that chorus motif. I liked it, and re-recorded it again circa maybe 1995 but the drums just weren't quite right.
This time around, the drums came out well and overall I'm pretty happy to finally have a "definitive" version of this one.
Among the best instrumental prog albums I've heard: brilliant musicianship, lots of light and shade; will appeal to heavy Rockers as well as symphonic proggers - love it! Phil Jackson
In 2019, I was in Salisbury and attended the Alphabet Business Convention without knowing any artist. Lost Crowns was my favourite band that played there. Pablo P.
